358 DIRT Modified Applefest Shootout Returns in 2008 with New Title Sponsor |
BRIGHTON, ON - The pit area at the Brighton Speedway was jammed packed on Saturday night for the 3rd Annual ImageFactor.ca Applefest 358 Dirt Modified Shootout. A total of 27 cars coming from all across Ontario and Quebec were on hand for the season ending event at the 1/3 mile clay oval in Brighton. Mario Clair won the 50 lap main event over Pete Bicknell and Kyle Dingwall.
The biggest surprise came earlier in the evening when rookie Chris Steele dominated the 15 lap Lucas Oil Clash for Cash. The win was Steele's first in a 358 Dirt Modified and boasted a $1,500 payout.
