Mark D'Ilario Wins Lucas Oil Dirt Sportsman Challenge Cup |
BRIGHTON, ON - A total of 24 cars were in attendance on Friday night at Brighton Speedway for the Lucas Oil Dirt Sportsman Challenge Cup. Ten of the twenty guaranteed starters from the Lucas 5 for 5 western series were on hand as well as 14 non-guaranteed starters. When all was said and done Merrittville Speedway regular Mark D'Ilario piloted his #08 to victory lane over Rob Pratt and Chad Chevalier. Chris Raabe won the Dibbits Excavating Dash for Cash. Full details to follow after the weekends events have concluded. Saturday night its the ImageFactor.ca Applefest 358 Dirt Modified Shootout plus the Lucas Oil Clash for Cash for small block modifieds. Drivers like Danny O'brien, Pete Bicknell and many others are expected to be on hand. The Ontario Dirt Late Models will also be on hand with a full field of cars for their only stop at Brighton in 2007. Race time is 7:00PM. Friday September 21st
