'Dash for Cash' Preview Slated for September 10th

BRIGHTON, ON - The ImageFactor.ca Applefest 358 Dirt Modified Shootout is quickly approaching. Many fans and teams have been anxiously awaiting the return of Small Block Modified racing to the Brighton Speedway. It has now been confirmed that fans will get a preview of this big event on Saturday September 10th. Four local 358 stars will climb behind the wheel of their Dirt Modifieds and compete in the Applefest Preview Dash for Cash.

Eastern Ontario drivers Mark Hitchcock, Chris Jones and Jeff Ciglich will be joined by Merrittville Speedway regular Rob Pietz in this demonstrational event. It will officially mark the first time that 358 Dirt Modifieds have turned competitive laps at the speedway in over two decades. All four drivers and their cars will be on display in the grandstand area prior to the the dash. Fans will have an up close and personal look at these mud slinging machines and the men who pilot them.

Also featured on the race card for September 10th will be the ever popular school bus races. The season may be winding down but things are just starting to heat up at the 1/3 mile clay oval. The action is sure to make for 'One Hot September' at the Brighton Speedway!
